Didn't like the idea of camping in the car at 12am till open, so I showed up at 9:30 am with El Capo and rented the last motorboat rental. Fishing report was every 15 minutes fish on! I caught the better half of the stringer but what do you expect I'm a girl. The fish were partial to the SC shiner in bubble gum, the hot chub rapala caught a few big one's until some dumb asses ran it over (El Capo's jesters were humorous but embarrassing to say the least) I told him people just don't know what they are doing, and the JSR 4 rapala finished off the afternoon damage. Limits by 1:30 pm despite the windy conditions.

First off I want to say thanks for talking me into going, we had a blast. I always get a kick out of you fighting trout for some reason even though I have seen you catch tuna, marlin, sailfish, etc.

Secondly it is important for all doubters to know that it is ON at the vine. Make no mistake about it, you CAN get a 5 fish limit in excess of #20 with the right lures IN THE WAKE.

Props to the Vine for the QUALITY of fish stocked for the opener.
