Trout Wars 11/6 weekend opener !

Fisrt report of the trout season was good.:Surprised: Got some calls fridays night asking me what
the game plans were? I was so tired I had to force myself to head out friday night. Finally
got all my gear/tackle and headed out.Stopped at the gas station to add a lil more fuel,the freeway it was.Stopped to meet up with The Killa Fish Taco's wife due to his car battery wanted to act up.Got the pole holders for Chillax,and the Vine I was.In line right behind Big Daddy and Chillax.Hung out until about 2am and off to sleep.Up at 5am and was still tired.
Headed to the tackle shop to get my breakfast burrito and coffee.Fast service I loved it.No ketchup packets...hmmmm.....Well I chowed down and ready to pay my entry fee.The team of 2Quik,Chillax,Big Daddy and Hitts0n was on the "J0 Mamma 2 express deluxe boat" with Captin Big Daddy guiding the way.2Quik and Chillax at Trout Island,and me and Big Daddy on the troll. The "HOT" lures of the day was the dark red Rapala.I trolled out about 50 feet 2 poles,and Big Daddy Trolled out about 80 feet a lil deeper 2 dark blue Rapala's! Owning the LMB,and trout on the troll!

We trolled a lil more and the wind picked up.Picked up the land hubbies and headed over
to woodies cove.The fish were there,but it was hard to get um.The fish were feeding on the topwater flys.The tubers did the best while we were there.Irvine Lake security on the boats were checking limits!(Great Job)!:Cool::Razz: Chillax catch the only fish in Woodies cove.Hung there for about and hour or so.For nothing....way too many boats,and too many of us on the boat for 8 poles.Ok last plan.....Big Daddy asked me....ok Hitts...its your call...where to? I was like lets head on to the hot spot ! Off to the hot spot for this result!

Well I want to thank Big Daddy for letting me join along with him with great conversation.All the line crossing,the being in your way,the smoking drinking and cussing! The personal conversation and the jokes and crap talking! Thats what fishing with Hitts is all about! I make it a party! See you in 2 weeks for the Turkey Bowl 3! Join us folks !

Like always, it was fun at the Vine! First, I want to thank Big Daddy for letting me on his boat and sorry for all the mud, I hope your wife was not too mad. It was a pleasure meeting you 2Quick. It was cool BSing with all you Friday night, I could barely get up the next morning. I fished the Island for the first time and 2Quick was the first one to shake the skunk. I got the skunk smell off of me later when Big Daddy was coming back for us. Headed to Woody's Cove for only one fish. Went over to the last spot where Hitts almost made 2Quick a believer. :Wink: Hahaha! First trout session and one for the books. I know some of you had different plans or no plans at all, thank you guys for meeting up with me, Team57 came thru yesterday.

Where were you El Capo? We didn't see any Team57 shirts out there until we were heading back to the dock.
