Happens to us all. With the wind today did they let boats launch or were you on the shore?
We launch the boat at 7:30 AM and have to leave about 12:30 due to strong wind, but they still let people launch their boats when I get back to the dock around 1:00 PM.

i got skunked too! i went out friday night around midnight for 2hrs, not one bite! i went again saturday around 4:30 and shore fished just south of the picnic area next to the west launch ramp...nada. went back down to the lagoon, fished up the east side by the marsh, nothing. came back down towards the launch ramp, zilch. didn't even get a nibble. i was fishing purple senko, tried a top-water popper, dark green and chartreuse power worm.
well, i got an annual pass for the parking, so i'll try to be out there pretty regularly.

I know how you feel. I was up there on Friday and got nothing. Had one rod out with anchovies and got hooked up but as I was reeling him in the knot came loose. Felt pretty big too. I'm going to be practicing my knot tying skills a little more before I head back out. Anyway, other people out there seemed to be having a pretty slow day also.

We fished Friday.
Had fish under the boat most of the day but we got 3 fish, 1 each for three guys. They were all schoolies.

It's unpredictable. It's my first skunk this year, who knows what's happended tomorrow, it could be a better day.

I beleive the lake has turned over and the bite has faultered because of it, I went out there yesterday and got shut down too, don't feel bad, it was tuff...
All that new water isn't good for the bite....
Hiro managed 1 on topwater and that wuz it.

Thank youy Khan. Anyway I have fun with or without any fish. Too bad I don't have a chance to use Garry technique of walking the dog this year. Oh well, I'll do it next year.
