i got there around 8 am and started off with a Margarita Mutilator III texas riged and on my 5th cast bamm hooked and landed this nice bass .. 20 minutes later switched to a topwater lure and landed this bby bass lol funny my lure was bigger than him heres some pics2669426695[ATTACH=CONFIG]26696[/

Good going bro! I've caught a few in that area right next to the pier pilings. Also like the channel between the two lakes. The bass (and big cats!) use this thoroughfare to go from one lake into the other. When the water was clear you could see them swimming through.

Very nice!! I was there Sunday late morning for a bit got about a half pound bass and that was it but fun. Then was at the pudd with my wife today with a skunker but it was a nice day out on the lake,nice warm sun. May hit the lake perris this Friday for some gill....Thanks for the pics.

Yes- There are some huge cats in the lakes. Most are Channel Catfish, and Black and Yellow Bullheads, but someone put in a few Flatheads in there a few years back. It is pretty much a night fishing thing, when the cats get active, but we try to keep quiet about it. Best fishing is from May to Oct. when it is warm out. ALL the cats we catch are released, especially the big ones, which are measured and weighed before releasing. Please do the same. You would not want to kill a great fish right? Besides, they taste muddy.

Honestly, knowing BGH pisses in those waters, along with the constant smell of feces by the lillypads, I wouldn't eat anything that came out of there
