My buddy and I hit corona lake this past saturday, the bite was awesome. Was on the water by 6:30 am. Morning trout bite was real slow. Had 3 tilapia by 10am. After 11am the trout bite picked up for us. I hooked on to a nice Tailwalker that gave me a pretty good fight. He spun me around the boat twice. This bad boy would not budge. After a few minutes I finally landed him. Did not weigh him though, I wanna say he was about 4 or 5 pounder. We limit out about 1pm with 7 trout 3 tilapia. Was a great day for fishing. Can't wait til the trophy size arrive.
