Went up last weekend. We fished the south fork of Bishop creek, South lake, and the June lake loop. South lake was a wide open bite on mini jigs and power worms. Caught a few Alpers out of the creek and some nice browns throughout the loop. Grasshoppers pattern trout traps and yellow silver banana trout traps were working as well as orange and pink power worms.

No, we just grabbed a hotel in Bishop. Didn't feel like being cold. I hope I can get back up there before it shuts down but probably will have to wait until I go up for Christmas and fish PVR and the Owens for some more browns. We fished it one night and my buddy caught 6 browns. I caught none because I tried to use a baitcaster and spent most my time undoing birdsnest. PVR browns were only 12-14" but I know there are some toads in there.

Always C&R on the browns. We released all the brookies as well only killing the stockers.
