tell me if I'm wrong, but would spotted sand bass be spotted bay bass?
Did these guys fish the harbor??
Daily Double 1/2 Day AM 11 15 Spotted Sand Bass, 4 Barred Sand Bass, 1 California Halibut, 1 Pacific Bonito

Man those douches better have eaten all of the Spotties, and not a 1 oz fillet that's deep fried until it becomes a chip.

I would have been pissed!
Spotties arent really that good. Ive kept one here and there, and they tend to have really really firm flesh.
I'd rather eat a croaker.

and if croaker werent such mercury sponges, id have them more often than not! yum!

actually, croaker actually rate lower than a lot of other species now. i believe mackeral and anchovies rate higher than croaker in mercury now.
