HOW THE MACKREL CATCH. I NEED SOME FOR SOME LAKE FISHING. HOW DO I CATCH THEM OFF THE PIER?

mackerel are stupid, they'll eat anything. Including a bare hook.
Just use a sabiki rig, or something shiny like a kastmaster or krocodile.

I was there wednesday and the macs were hitting off the end of the pier, had to put a small bit of mac on the sabiki, 1 oz wt and throw out, let it hit bottom, jig in slow. Caught 50 or so, good for a month of catfishing. Cats taste way better then macs.....
