We hit Boulder Bat at about 7am this morning & no one was there.The whole dock to us hahahaha.First hour nothing but cold biting us & a lil breeze but trout jumping everywhere.About 8am my girl gets a bite & almost looses her ever loving mind.She was so excited that she held the fish above me trying to net it,just a couple inches above the water funny stuff.We get it up & on the stringer so I put some more PB on her hook & cast to the same spot.Before I can get the slack out of her line its getting more action & I am just floored.My lil girl reels that one in & its bigger than the last one.Oh Yea she is a very good sport about her dad not catching any every couple mins. "Dad u need to catch a fish I got 2!" plus other digs.Pretty witty for a 9 yr old. ::LOL:
Now she is hooked & wants to go every time I go & so does her lil brother.I knew as soon as the trout started they would be asking to go,lol.

wtg dad I just was talking to my 22 year old lil girl last nite and she asked when we could go fishing.Father hood is awsome.

Congrats! id rather see a kid catch fish all day then me pull anything up. haha hows the fishing since the rain stoped?

i have 3 boys and love to fish with them all the time,

Fishing been pretty slow for me no more than 2 a day so far.Really dont get it thought that cold front & rain would just force the feeding frenzy.While gutting one I cut open the stomach (stocker) it had been eating weeds & a small piece of drift wood.Going back out Monday since the weekends are made for tourists up here & the cabins around me are full.Good weekend for pulled pork & football,lol.
I would also like to thank all of u for the kind words & it was one of the best days of my life watching her reel em in.Thanks again folks.Good luck.
