Took the boat out to Castaic on Wednesday. The storm broke about half an hour before we got there. Striper and Bass were boiling on the east launch docks as we were getting the boat ready. We met a couple of nice guys who were netting the bait ball and got a few nice pieces before we took off. Headed straight toward Canyon to find stripers boiling in a nice little cove. Tossed a white 4 inch Zara spook for a few schoolies before they took off. Cruised the side walls points and coves blind casting the Zara Spook and picked up two more linesides and a nice 4-5 pound largemouth. Trolled around and metered fish around 40-50 feet deep all around the lake. No takers on the troll. Water was crystall clear to around 8 feet, smaller balls of shad in the coves. No pictures as the camera was stashed due to the rain forecast.
