I am looking for a campsite where I can camp and fish. Must have showers (for the kids and girls), not so packed so we can be as loud as we want. I really want it near the kern river for some trout fishing. Anyone know of any?

There is lots of places above Kernville. State run sites, and private ones. I stayed at one called Rivernook before, very nice. They have showers.
If you can just rinse off in the river, anywhere 10 miles from kernville would be good.
