Ive been fishing at the dam area for the past 3 weekends now. Fishing was really tough this past Sunday. Look for the afternoon bite to be a more productive time of the day. Also I seemed to have done better when there was some winds

OK with the warmer weather last week the trout bite was only fair.I saw a 6lb & a 2-3 lb trout this week.The D/O is high through out the lake with most of the weeds on the east.I dont like the damn right now try some place a lil more shallow.No wait go ahead try the dam,lol.
My guess is after this cold front the trout bite will open up.Raining hard right now may even get a lil snow.

Go get your copy of the local Big Bear Grizzly newspaper for this past week. My daughter is in it holding one of her fish. We caught two limits trolling before the crappy weather hit there. Rapalas and kastmasters mostly all caught by the floating jon. Also got a bunch of carp at the Stanfield marsh on the light trout gear. That was fun. Those seem to be gone now though.
