Never been to Lake Gregory before, thinking about checking it out this weekend and doing some bass fishing. Is it worth the trip?
How's the access along the whole shoreline? Is there alot of visible cover to target? Also, is there an entrance fee and fishing fee?

Thanks!

The bass are tough at Gregory, but relatively unmolested in that not many people bother to fish for them. Shore access is good around the entire lake, other than the swimming area. There is no entrance fee to fish the lake as it is unfenced (again accept for the swim area.) As far as visible cover, that might be a bit more of a challenge. I don't know what the water level is currently, but the east and west shore in the arm of the lake that ends at the baseball fields has some shoreline trees that have branches that extend out into the water as well as possibly some stumps/roots depending on where the water lever is.

No matter what, it is a beautiful little lake and always a good time fishing there as there are no motor boats or other water craft on the water so it is nice and peaceful.

Good luck if you give it a shot.
