I never fished for bluegill at perris, i am thinking of going one of these days. Any one knows any spots or any tips?i'm new to this lake so i don't know anything. If i can get to some carp or some cats then that would be great too.

you can fish off the docks for a couple bucks i hear its been good lately use crickets and 2lb test line

You could use 20lb mono with 4/0 hooks with whole squid on a 6oz sinker for them.

Yes , if you want to catch the most and largest fish. 4 lb will work pretty good too. You can use waxworms on a drop shot rig with a No. 8 - 10 Mosquito hook. This rig is great. Drop to bottom and just shake it a little now and then. Make sure you hook the waxworm just once in the tip of it's tail.

LOL I've actually seen someone catch a 2lbr on a set-up similar to what I described.

Yeah bro heavy pressure there they only get up to a pound average alb is pretty sporting
