We got a new to us boat and needed to see what worked and what didn't and thresher trolling seemed like the way do it.

Bait tank looked good but small with a couple dozen mackeral swimming around. The Yamaha fourstroke is really nice 51 miles on 14 gallons of gas. It was really cool having all the space after moving up from the 19 ft c/c.

The fish hit a purple Bait -o- Matic from Leadmaster's with a bridle rigged mackeral on a single hook. It took about 35 minutes for her to get it boatside then the fun began.

Here's Billfish trying to revive it

The new boat is a wellcraft 24 ' walkaround with an 08 yamaha 4 stroke so far i'm really impressed, but then again I've been trying to get a boat like this for the last 12 years
