imho i think its a waste of money on corona's/sarl behalf the water is too warm still if u ask me , we'll be back in the 100's by next week. I know they want to get the jump on irvine and other places with the trout but i think its a bad choice. they should just wait intill nov/dec

2quick, they must have made the exc. decision that they will make more money with the stocking than without . I agree 100% water will be to warm for them . Last year I went to the early stocking and the trout were just not doing well with the warm water temps . I am thinking another Month and It should be a lot better . But , you going to get guys wanting to go trout fishing NOW and there you go .

As I understand it even during last weeks heat spell the water temp still stayed low enough for them to stock trout but they didnt want to take the chance. I agree it will probably be too hot for the trout to be active though.

You can"t convince me it's to early, because in the previous years I did great on these early stockings. I for one will definitely be there to take advantage of their offerings.
