I've had the unit for about 1.5 yrs, and its starting to have issues. When I turn it on, it looks ok for a while--i get a GPS signal, etc..., but once in a while I will lose GPS and get an error message stating "No GPS Receiver Fix". I could understand if I was under a bridge or something, but this even happens in my driveway! It will work for 2hrs, then all of a sudden it loses it's "fix".

To get it repaired by Humminbird it is $160. I was hoping somebody here has experienced the same thing and could shed some light on the situation. HELP!

could be a lose connection on the gps module somewhere, or it might be starting to go bad ? sounds more like a lose wire to me ? good luck in getting it fixed

I think the unit is fried. last night the GPS took a dump, then the entire screen went gray. I turned it off and on a few times, then the GPS came back but the sonar went out. Then it went gray, then came back up, then GPS crapped out again.
