Do any of you fish the Santa Ann River right below PCH? How is the fishing and do you have any advice for fishing it?

Ive never tried it but I see guys down there with lines in the river just before the mouth allmost every day .

3" Big hammer or similar, 1/4oz leadhead, cast up current, and slowly swim/bounce it back down. There's a surprise waiting in there for you.
Colorwise, Halloween, or Toast are a good start
