Fished in the weather today with the The Todd, plan was to dip some bait, tough going on the bait, they didn't want to play.
In between playing with the dipnet we got the bait steer'd , not shaken enough that the LMB came up to play and boiled on the bait, we managed about a dozen or so throwing at the boils, The Todd got both JP's fish today with the better grade of bass.
Very hard to see the bait in the off colored, overcast skys, then the rain came in pretty hard, we did more recon on places to dip, if we would have stayed with fishing the boils we could have doubled the catch.
If I would have got a better shot at the bait we would have slayed em...
Fun day over all, I got to invest in some frogtoggs...
