I fished the lower lake on Saturday morning with some new friends. We caught a small bass and some bluegill. We had a great time.
I went to the upper lake after the CAST Event. I was out of energy even after a rest in the parking lot and a Monster Drink. I've still got that chest cold. I drove around looking for boils for a while, didn't find them but stopped and worked some spots anyway, for nothing. After I talked to Gary and Hiro I went to a couple other spots and tried them out. I finally found some active bass and picked one up 16" or 17" long. I let the wind push my boat round and round in the cove hoping that the striper would come up. There were more boils but I was late getting into most of them because I was slow. I didn't see any boils that I thought were striper. I saw lots of the fish, all that I saw were LMB.
