Noticed the original manager, Rick Mendoza, is back managing the lake. I fished with him years ago. When he left, I stopped fishing the lake. Unfortunately, the lake has suffered in recent years, but the reports in WON are now more positive.
Anyone fish it for bass recently? Are the current reports hyped or are a few lmb being taken?
I know Rick will bring the lake back with time. Fond memories of pitching Robos and jigs into the reeds.
