DECIDED TO TAKE A QUICK TRIP TO MAMMOTH WITH MY KIDS TO RELEASE
SOME L.A PRESSURE,LEFT THE HOUSE ABOUT 4:00 AM,GOT TO MAMMOTH
AROUND 10:30 AM,AFTER UNPACKED,JR.MASTERS DIDNT LEAVE ALONE TO REST
AT THE CANDO,SO TOLD THE WIFE BY THE TIME SHE MAKES A LUNCH,WILL BE BACK
SOON,WENT UP TO CONVICT LAKE,WALKED TO MY HONEY HOLE,BY THE TIME
I FINISHED MY COFFE AND CIG,MY OLDEST SON HOOKED THE FIRST ALPER,
THAN FOR ABOUT AN HOUR ME,NICK AND GREG CAUGHT AND RELEASED AROUND
8 TO 11 FISH,KEPT NICK'S FIRST ALPER,STARTED TO WALKED BACK TO THE TRUCK
WHEN GREG (MIDDLE SON) TOLD ME (LAST CAST DAD).PS THIS KIDS ARE DIEHARD
FISHERMEN,NEVER GOT TIRED,SO HERE WE GO WITH HIS LAST CAST,AND BAMMMMMMMMM,PULLED THIS 4.9 POUNDER,TRY TO RELASE IT,BUT WAS HALF DEAD
SO BROUGHT IT HOME,HERE SOME PIC'S,

Nice Brownie out of Convict....... sometimes u just can't save em.... too bad, because that was a female and Im sure it was loaded with eggs...... Brownies r gettin active..... hoping to get up there the end of this month

THAT is a keeper picture, for sure! Look at the smiles on those boys' faces. You have a contingent of ANGLERS, for sure. Props to Dad for leading the way, too.

For sure there were no eggs,but i remmember when i cleaned the fish,there were
2 crawfish in her belly,i was suprised my self,this fish hit on a silver kastmaster..

castmasters for that lake are standard,especially at the inlet down deep, most of my brownies i get there are off the woolbuggers trolled deep,with the water always so clear there,,,,,,,,,,,,

YOU ARE RIGHT,I ALWAYS HAD A LUCK ON A KASTMASTER IN DEEP WATER
