Upper Kern 9/29

Hit the upper Kern yesterday. Overall the fishing was good, and most importantly it was a nice day out. I fished with the fly rod today, and it was good. Caught about 12 fish, and all were released safely.

Thanks for the report and congrats on your PB on the fly rod...
looks like a fun day on the Kern,
I'm going up there mid OCT to see if I can get some on the fly, I just switched to fly fishing myself and I'm pretty exited.
Did you get them on the dry fly or were you fishing subsurface?
