I want to purchase a poppy pass for the state parks. Can I only purchase them online or can i go to perris lake for example and pay for it right there at the main gate when i head into the lake???

You have to go to the camp ground office to purchase the Poppy Pass. Just let them know at the main gate and they'll let you in. If nobody is at the gate just go on in.
The pass is good to the last day in the month you by it.I always try to buy at the 1st of the month so I actually get 13 months out of the pass.
