My family and I decided to go up to the Mammoth Lakes area for a time off from LA. Took my brother with us as well. Hes not much of a fisherman but i wanted him to get away as well and get his mind cleared up. I MADE him buy a fishing license and his own rod. After the trip was over, he was a man hooked onto fishing. So we decided to go for an evening run at Lake Mary near a creek that ran into the lake. We saw some trout feeding on bugs that the creek brought in. We sat right on the mouth of it and we KILLED them. We caught about 30 fiish total, released 20 of them back. We were using barbless hooks with salmon eggs on them, and some artificial lures (spinners). First cast my brother did with the salmon eggs, he caught a very nice one. :EyePop: . My son Greg also caught a very nice one on a silver spinner. We had to keep that one cause he pulled out all of the guts and soul!!! My oldest son Nick had battle plan against them Trout, and ended up "taking the field". He limit 7 trout, one was a Brook and he through it back. We only kept 3 of his catches. I didnt really fish because i was helping the little one fish. After the battle was over, my brother and boys had a blast. We had a great day and went back to the condo amused.:Group Hug::Group Hug::Applause::Applause:
