Guy at Turner's Outdoorsman was showing me a baitrunner type reel for around $75 that he said was just as good if not better than Shimano's. Can't remember the brand though. Those guys usually know their stuff.

Having problems with your Shimano baitrunner??? They are solid reels capable of handling a lot of variety of fishing.
