Bako duct - lost cell phone - found feesh

While filleting fish the other day at the Castaic lagoon, I found someone’s cell phone.

I called the # and found the owner, turns out that he lives in Bakersfield so I did my good deed to return the phone to him…he was kind enough to pay my gas…

Well while out on my mission I thought I’d stop by the duct for a quick hour and a half to see if I could strike anything up….

Went to a few spots for the usual salad buffet…

Got to my last stop and…

Wham !

Fish on….

Then….

FISH OFF !

Dayam !

A few more cast got me thinking, awwww man that was probably my only shot tonight and I farmed ‘em : (

Then…..

THUNK !

Hookup !

Not a huge model but it’s dinner tonight and there’s a deep fryer a-waitin’

This fish was lookin a little thin so I hope they get into a heavier feeding pattern soon and fatten up…

There must be Blood…

Veggies still unbelievable but do show signs of improvement from 3 weeks ago…

that's cool man i know how much it sucks to lose your phone or wallet good deed paid off with mr stripey good catch bro keep slayin em. im waiting for the water conditions to change a little so i can head up to the duct again. probably have to wait another 3 weeks but looks like there is a little change in the conditions thank gary for the report
