Quail Lake Report

Rolled up to Quail Lake with a couple buddies and parked in the dirt lot. No one there except for Andy G. We grabbed our gear and walked across the gate to the other side of the lake and hiked on down to our old spot. we didn't dress up in camo,wear any silly lights on our hats,or pretend we were in boot camp. Brought our bait of choice for some Big Cats. Marinated chicken liver in brown sugar . They usually love it there. We must have been in the wrong hood of the lake though this time because we all caught only Stripers. Biggest one was a fiver.

Man, that's a nice catch. Especially considering that you were after cats. I eating striper, better anyway.

Cured liver is a good choice. I like the brine method too. Keeps em on the hook much better.
