isabella sept. 18th 19th... best fishing for the buddy

went up to isabella saturday afternoon. couple buddies and me... neither of them fish as often or as long as i have/do but they still love it .. well bite was constant all night started with a few smaller fellas then got a slightly larger one so decided to keep all around his size after he was pullled in,, few missed hooksets a couplebreak offs or snaggers and by 5 ish am only 3 cats on the stringer then jingle jingle big fella, then smaller throw backs, sun came upi got a bass on a roostertail and a bunch of tiny ones as well, my buddy who got the biggest cat got a larger bass on cutbait,, had a badjaw... looked like a salmon from that side... anyways heres some pics of the fish

and jons old beat up but good size bass....

jon dont fish as much as he wants and with like 5 cats a couple small bass and the larger one this was his best trip.. got a nice bassand a decent catfish, he wasstoked and so was i, after outfishing him over and over ya start to feel bad, not bad now that he got the two best fish of the trip but i caught enough to make myself happy and to see him catch his was epic... tons of laughs and plenty of action,, our other buddy didnt do as well but enjoyed the time away and the sleep while me and jon chased the bites

we had one line out with powerbait all morning til around 11 when we left, coupleothers with crawlers, they didnt get even a nibble... only action we had was bass,, tossed roostertails for a bit but no trout action even though they where jumping here and there "few carp jumps too" aimed for cats but i always go for others when the target is slowww... would have enjoyed some crappie and trout fun but had a blast with what i did catch

been posting here and there, still fishing about twice a week usually when theol lady wants to go walking we will hit truxton or riverwalk i fish while she walks with the baby.. like this morning we hit riverwalk i was getting rustraited with the smalllll bluegill everywhere in the front lake and right as i was packing in myultralight the other rig went down, way down almost dragged rod holder and all in the water, finally got another carp... heres a pic i didnt have a scale but it looked and felt heavier then my pb 14 lber
