Sorry guys!
Me and my dad went on this "expensive" fishing trip to Corona lake on last Wed, and I didn't have enough time to do a detailed report for you folks to get some fun there as well!
Here's the story! Like I always do, me and my dad arrived at the get early enough to get the first couple boats for the spots I liked to fish at (See Pic)! And a funny thing was, when we were on the boat and arrived at my favorite spot and fiqured that "we have forgotten to bring our home made bait (wrapped liver)! And the baits are not in the car, they are in the FRIG! OMG! I called my bro to bring me the baits 6:30AM in the morning, and he almost killed me for answering my call!

Anyways, after my bait arrived, we started fishing around 7:00AM. We made the casts close enough that the cats will definately hit on one of them FOR SURE! We waited for 30 mins, the first cat got hooked! Nice! A 2 lb cat was landed safely!

The best catch time zone was around 8~10AM. Why? Because we had total four rods setup, and sometimes we will get 2~3 bites at once (NOT JOKING!). And the last cat landed was about a 4lb cat, which almost dragged the rod into the water when we were not paying much attention to it.

But we have caught total 9 cats (we should've go for last one, but my dad needs some rest so we left early!) Total weighted 20.5lbs!

Location: Corona Lake
Hook: Gamagatsu 4/0 Circle Hook
Bait: Chicken Liver wrapped with Atlas-Mike's Nylon Squares
Hot Spots: Kitty Cat Trees/ Mackerel Cove/ Rattlesnake Beach
Cost: Entrance $22, Motor Boat $50, HAPPIES :NO MONEY CAN BUY!

What a nice bait!

very good report. I always just used red/black sewing thread for livers/mussel (mussel is a good freshwater bait, btw)
