Fairmount/lake evans spots??

Does anyone know of the spots to fish at Lake Evans? Or is it even worth the trip?

It is a very hard place to fish for bass. There are a handful of people that catch bass out of there. Oh and if you catch a bass please take a pic or else it never happened.

I've caught quite a few bass from Evans and the trick seems to be smaller worms in the 3 to 4.5" variety. In the 1st parking lot you come to where you can fish the damn as Evans goes into Webb (or that drain) instead of going to the damn side go to the right where there is a point in front of the restrooms. Fish that point and work your baits really slowly. I prefer a Texas rig. They are there and it is a little more finesse then anywhere else but stick to it and you'll stick a couple.

any one knows anything about fairmount's carp?or is there even cat's still in there?

Dont know much about fairmounts carp, but lake elsinore has tons!! Not to sure what to do with carp, exept C&R.
