Met up with Brandon, Dan and Kirk in NPH for a tube session (sound experienced eh?)
This was actually my 2nd time ever and I had alot more fun this time.

I've never fished with these guys before but I've read their reports and after listening to some of their conversations while on the water, something told me that they had become very familiar with NPH:Envious:.

Brandon and Dan were using a secret bait unlike what I normally use. It's up to them to give it up to the rest of you but I think it outperformed my usual goto "gulp jerkshads" Good job guys!

We all caught a few fish each, mainly Spotties but a few other species as well.

I wasn't able to get pics of all the fish as we were spread out most of the time but I took a few.....

Brandon hooked up with a nice drag puller a few moments after I caught the halibut.

Nice Flotilla Guys!

John,

I see you have been hitting it from all angles of late Jetty,Surf,& Harbor! Congrats on another successful Float Trip!

Great to see some buddies sharing the space and Intel together!

Guess we will have to work on another mass Flotilla of friends or a Team 57 Event in NPH, Floaters, Boaters, and folks than can work the shore with out sinking in the muck!

You have a better advantage now that you are floating! Be careful though as the "Spotted Fever" is fully equiped with "Blow Darts" to take out the enemy!

* Del. Police Probe Additional Blow Dart Attacks
(8/13/2009)

Police in Delaware have arrested a suspect on charges of assault following a year long investigation into a string of bizarre blow dart attacks.

On February 9, investigators arrested Hamilton Smith, 20, of Bear, for his part in two separate blow dart incidents in August of 2009.

Smith was identified through tips and leads generated throughout the course of the investigation. According to police, his arrest would have been announced sooner had it not interfered with the ongoing investigation.

In total, four blow dart incidents were reported to police in August of last year. In each incident, an unsuspecting individual was struck by a four inch blow dart and taken for treatment.

Early investigations revealed that a suspect fled the scene in a pickup truck or black Mazda sedan.

Smith was formally charged with two counts of Assault and two counts of Conspiracy. He is free on bail awaiting trial in Superior Court.

Anyone with information pertaining to this ongoing investigation is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.

I had a great time again it was nice meeting John for the first time and it is always a pleasure to fish with Dan and Brandon. I wanted to try some baits that I haven't thrown before in the harbor, so I started out with a Sexy Shad Spinner Blade and caught a SBB.
Then I switched to the NPH usual (AKA the Brandon Special) and caught a couple more SBB and a yellow fin croaker. Then I switched over to a Hula Grub and caught another SBB.
I had to ditch the guys and cut out a little early to get to my Son and daughter's Cross Country Meet Boy's Varsity 2nd place in the sweepstakes race Congrats!

I had a great time and I'm looking forward to hitting up NPH again very soon.

9 feet is the depth in most places not as deep as the public swimming pools - life jackets would work great if you cant swim
