Caught west of inlet while drifting over weed beds. Ripping a Rapala jointed shad crank. Safely revived and released for another day. Hope pic is attached.

That's what keeps me going back to Skinner. The hope of catching the 4lb+ LMB. They are in there allright, just hard to get 'em to bite. The cranks are starting to work a little more now. What time of day was this one caught?

Sorry for late reply, not one for sitting at a computer. Caught her around 9:30 with clear blue sky and sun to my back.

Hahaha! Alot of folks must be reading this! I went to Skinner today 9-18 and that area of the lake you described was packed with boasts! The south shore was a ghost town. I came away with a 3lb. striper caught at 7:00 am on a Zara Spook. Rest of the day was just a few dinks.
