Hit up reservior in Oceanside on the way back to Los Angeles and came up with this one had to wait till nightime bite just wasn't biting during the day but who cares at least No Skunk

Then stopped at water basin off Goldenwest in search for LMB but only came up with these little fighters

Good job, and I always like it when people take advantage of fishing opportunities when they present themselves. Not sure from the photo, but with the highway across it, I think you reservoir is actually the Batiquitos Lagoon, and I also think your bluegill are actually green sunfish. You are right. They are aggressive little fighters. Well done.

Edit: I'm sorry. My bad. That is probably the Buena Vista Lagoon. It's not important any way. The important thing is that you saw a fishing opportunity, took it, and caught fish.
