Just got off the Pacific Voyager from a 2 day trip. Left Seaforth on Friday night with a load of 16 passengers and no newbies! Drove to the Tuna grounds which was about 70 miles south west of Point Loma. The water temperature was 66 to 67.5. Lots of wind swells for most of the two days but just as we were leaving, the weather settled down. The ride home was flat. Of course, I was fishing seasick much of the trip, despite the patch. :Embarrassed: To get bit, you needed to fish with #20 fluorocarbon leaders and a size 1 or 2 hook. :Secret: Our boat totals were: 6 Albacore, 4 Bluefin Tuna, 1 Skipjack Tuna, 67 Yellowfin Tuna. :Big Grin: I had a BFT and several YFT.

This crew made fishing fun with their entusiasm and energy. I haven't been on a boat where the crew howls over a hookup. At one time, we had all the passengers hooked up! The food was good and the boat clean. There is even a hot water shower stall on board.

His crew really is top notch. They're just like that for rock codding too... makes rock codding sound a lot more exciting. What did Jeff cook?
