6:45am stopped at Castaic to see if there are any boil....
I walked along the dam to see if there are striper boilings..... By the 1st Boat Sign I saw some small boil about 100 ft from shore...ran and ran... tossed my top water lure (KPN).... 2nd cast... bum bum...reel in 2 lbs...then the boil was gone.... it was quick and not too large boil....released back to the water. Kid called at 7:15 am had to go home.

WTG Cuong, That's a lot better than you and I did on the last Moonlight Fishing Event. Hell that's the same as I did Friday and I was there all day!

That fish is 15 lbs 2 ounces, it's from casitas, the fish there are much longer than your lagoon breeders..
Trust me...that aint no trick photography or photoshop....she's a peeeg !
it measured 29 1/4" and had a girth of 25 3/4"
A toad in all rites......
Too bad I didn't get her 2 weeks before as she was spawned out....
She would have gone allot more having the eggs still in her...
sick thing is 30 minutes later I had an even bigger one on w/o a doubt !
I aint complaining, I'll NEVER forget that beastie...and she's still swimmin out there for someone else to catch now unless someone killed her...

for sure!!!! yea i used to fish their alot untill they got this gay 10 day boat quarentine, and i hear the fishing up their is real bad right now, neways that fish is a pig i woulda thought close to 20 man
