I am going to be in downtown Sacramento for four days, I was looking at fishing discovery park. Any idea on this place? How is the bite? What to use, im thinking lures? Is there shore fishing access? Doing some research it looks like the rainbow and steel-head bite are excellent in sept/oct. I read a report that said you can catch limits of Chinook, rainbow and steel-head, real quick at discovery park in sept. My research shows that it is a popular spot for anglers and boaters in sept. I really appreciate your help and local knowledge. Thank You
