Good report Ron.
Crazy weather we're still having. From 112 degrees at my house last Friday to 74 degrees on Saturday.
I've heard that if some don't watch it, some people actually get pneumonia from this type of weather.
I was wondering if you ever go after the tuna with just the plastics?
Oh Well, at least no one got skunked.
Take Care,
Robert

Hi murrieta angler,

Thanks. Wow .... that is nuts on the temps. Lite gear, braid line, plastics only, fishing like plastics should be fished, and like fishing at one spot ...... I ABSOLUTELY, WITHOUT A DOUBT.... DO NOT BELONG ON ANY TUNA TRIP ... EVER !!

Thanks for the 411 Ron. Ice water right before Labor Day ?
The summer that NEVER CAME ?
56 degree water ?

Did you see lots of Whales at Long Point ?
Seen more and more Whales the last few days.
Yesterday 8/30/10 several off Rocky Pt driving home but the day before must had been 20 +

Last week must have been 30 + one day in a 5 minute drive by.

It is like the year of the Whales, never seen so many !

Anybody wants to see Whales go to Pt Vicente, NOW.

Point Vicente Interpretive Center:
This beautiful park, located adjacent to the Pt. Vicente Lighthouse, offers recreational and educational opportunities to the public.
.
The Interpretive Center opened in 1984 with a mission to present and interpret the unique features and history of the Palos Verdes Peninsula. The almost 10, 000 square foot newly expanded Interpretive Center, re-opened on July 15, 2006, features exhibits on the natural and cultural history of the Peninsula, with a special emphasis on the Pacific gray whale. This premier whale watch site provides spectacular opportunities to view the annual migration of the Pacific gray whale, from December through April.

Guys talk about getting excited pulled around in a Kayak.
Try it in a skiff with a 50' Whale.
