Here's my best theory as to how this happened... Me and a buddy were surf fishing and we had our gear on these rocks. At the end of the day we put all the gear in my trunk. There's a little opening at the front of my trunk that goes into the insides of the car but it's up towards the top. I guess the crab got into my boot, hitched a ride into my trunk, then climbed out and up the side into this opening and made its way into my taillight.
