This morning started off very slow with the bite turning on around 10am. And when it picked up, it picked the F up. lots of little BSP (for Ironmachin at least).

Ok if you say so. I've slayed perch that size on 4lb and a trout set-up. Your set-up is more for Calicos and Halis.

I didn't think anyone this time of year is fishing for perch because of the fight :ROFL:
I always fish the surf with my halibut setups but keep some perch stuff in my backpack to save the skunk. I only use appropiate gear when the prego's are up in the surfline and I'm targeting them exclusivly.
Just my two cents.......anyways......Good job on the perchin in venice mrjonez. At least your catchin and sharing!
