Water is warming up and somewhat cleaner than usual.
Not as much birds diving as last week, but some here and there .
Can still see bait in the water, yet not as thick as last week either !!!
Arrived 5.30am. to meet Randy, and our feet hit the sand about 6am.

who by the time they left,caught about four big smelt and two or three

was nail-em on white grubs http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_confused.gif I threw a drop shot with 2.5 in Gulp

Two of Randy's three were Pictured, but the third one, I was to far out in
my waders to go back to pic it for him . WELL? Maybe next week!!!

Interesting the shapes of each fish.
Makes you think that they could be 2 different types of species of Halibut.

Way to go in these tough conditions....well for Randy at least lol jk. You'll catch up soon enough. Oh and the white grub... thats what reports are for :P !!!

Nice report again FS!

We all are felling the pain of the very inconsistent surf year! With the waters not being any warmer so far, it is unlikely that they will get there with each day becoming shorter as we are already close to the fall fishing period!
