Hey FNN, I had a little free time after work since my girl wanted to have sister time. (sweet) I didn't mind since there's was no chance she would out fish me...lol, Got home and grabbed the gear, (10 lb, 20 lb, 30 lb) and headed out. Got in the area around 0830 pm Most of the dock's were already pretty crowded due to the 5.6 high tide but I did manage to find a secluded one ( for a bit ) Got the lines out using 1/2 squid on the 20lb and full squid on the 30 lb. Sat for about 5 min when a guy with his two young kids ( which I don't usually mind ) but in this case it turned sour pretty quick. Being the nice guy that I am, I offerd them to use some of my bait if they would like (squid/dines) they had some shrimp but I thought I would offer. I notice the father was having trouble casting ( a closed reel..lol ) and was kinda bummed he forgot his weights at home, so I offerd him his choice at mine. Here's where it turns, these kids where bombing the water with unsuccessful cast like the mititary and catalina, then the got bored so they decided to start screaming and yelling and throwing stuff in the water....ugh I kept my quiet as dad wasn't exactly doing anything but mummering. I was starting to get worried cause you can only fish off the dock's till 10pm and here it is 0930 with these darn kids. Finally the little boy say "I'm done" and dad had already had enough and the left. Awww, cracked a cold one and sat in peace for 5 min. zzzz short run then dropped it. I did get a nice bite on a 3 in. curly but I farmed it. HP rolled up at 0955 really close to the dock, like they always do. I've had my lines snagged by them everytime they roll around but not much I can do about it. So I started acting like I was packing up/leaving so they just rolled on by. Getting fluster'd that I might be getting skunked for a 3rd time I took off the plastic of the 10lb rod and laced it up with a dine. Not 5 min go by it get hit, and land this little guy

C&R, of course and toss on the other half of the same dine, 5 min later another hit, still small but bigger than the last...lol http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh187/poachn/chartertrip032.jpg
It started to get late, by this time it was 1100 so I retide my curly on my small rod and worked a few docks along the way back to the truck, pick up another dink

Wow! All little Sandies. Usually I get mostly Spotties. Looks like you did pretty good. You just never know when you'll hook into a big bass. That's what keeps us going back!
