I was there last weekend. I was fishing LMB, but I did see the usual striper guys out at the bouys near the dam. Seems the hot ticket right now is chicken livers. I'll be there sweating my ***** off this Saturday.

I talked to one guy who "has a friend" who threw a topwater at a boil around 6-6:30 am and came up with a striper. No other action the rest of the day. If you are looking for Mr. stripey action you will need to look at DVL or SanAntonio. I hear you on not wanting to bait-n-wait. That's why I took up fishing for Largemouth Bass. Come November we'll be looking for more aggressive stripers.

Well, before 9am it was bait-n'-notsomuch-wait. 2 of us had 14 stripers in 2 hours, and twice as many farmed. No boils though, they're running deep all day long at skinner.
