Fishing at the lake has been very good to say the very least. A plethora of big fish made their way to the scales in the form of trophy cats and bass. However, Kenn Thi of Orange would top the whole field with what is probably the biggest cat weighed in this summer.
Kenn Thi of Orange bested this 23.8 Blue Catfish while soaking shrimp on the west shore.

Phil Hildebradt of Anaheim landed fish weighing in at 10.4,7.10,6.12, and 6.2. Phil made his catch while fishing shrimp and mac combos back in the flats. Phil has made it a habit of weighing in trophy fish every week! Phil is pictured here with the 10.4, 7.10 and 6.12!

The trophies are not the only ones biting as James Anna and Bryce Delund of Trabuco point out in the picture below. The team made their catch in the lagoon with marshmellows and mealworms.

Kyle Babin of Whittier hit the main lake and scored this limit of cats while also fishing the m&m combo. His limit went 13.10 on the lakes scale.

A lot of quality bass where also checked in once again this week. However the only photo available at this time is of a quality fish landed by a youngster.
E.J Manzo of pico rivera checks in this 4.12 Largemouth Bass taken on a plastic worm from boat dock cove.

Just a heads up guys and gals the last quailfier for the king or queen of the cats will be August 4th. Plan ahead of time and make reservations for the pontoons and campgrounds. We will be taking reservations one week ahead of time for those two items. Also cant wait to see everyone for Dana's memorial event this weekend.
Tight lines,
Jimmy
