I'm heading out for some dove hunting next week and will be staying at a hotel in Laughlin. During the down time, I'm going to attempt to do a little bass fishing in some of the backwater areas just south of Laughlin. I'll be fishing from shore. Any ideas on where to go/what to use? Most likely I'll be tryng some topwater fishing and cranking along with that. Thanks

sevenout,
For the Largemouth any of the back waters using IKA's Senko's aarons magic, is what I use not had much luck on the crankbaits or topwater but let me know how it works out for you. Smallmouth in eddies of the main river the crankbaits will work and the plastics will to. Srtipers are bait and wait carolina rig 18" leader enough wait to keep it on the bottom with half a chovy #6 baitholder or #4 octopus. Rigs i use 6# for all the artificials and 4# with the bait 2-4#stripers are a blast on the light line.
Good luck can't wait for the report
B
