I decided to put the boat away and get some exercise on this vacation. Therefore, it was pulling out the old tube and crashing the waves with my family at Dog Beach.

Great to see you back on the water my friend! Seems like there is a lack of rhythm to the post but time will heal us and we will get back to our "ol selves"!

Long time no hear Labjet! How are you?

Hey Eric, In the past year and a half, I've been on the water only twice. Our lab, Jet, passed on to old age a couple of years ago and we've been busy dealing with family health issues lately. Funny how life sneaks up on you sometimes. I check FNN when my longing for the water gets the best of me. I was so sorry to hear about Dana. He touched a lot of folks.

I hope you didn't trade in your "Bote" for those fancy pontoon thingies! Your Lake Shasta pix reminded me of when we went up there five or six years ago and rented a houseboat. We took our Portabote as a shuttle craft and it was a hoot.

We had to get another pooch after Jet passed on... he's a Lab, of course...
