Hey everyone, Cliffhanger, my girlfriend Stephanie, and I hit up the late halfday on the Aggressor. Loaded up the boat with too many people so the Captain came on the loud speaker and asked for 4 volunteers to get off the boat with a refund and a free halfday trip in the future. It took about 15 min. before the volunteers to off load. I thought it was pretty weak but the boat wasn't moving until we offloaded 4 peeps. We loaded up a mix of dines and chovies

( mostly dines ) and headed out to Huntington flats. Fishing was SLOW!

Multiple moves only producing 2 or 3 fish a stop, if that. Made some new friends with Deckhands Aaron & Phil, didn't get the Captains name. CliffHanger ended up with a Treefish ( pretty neat ) and a Sculpin, Steph caught 2 Sculpin,

and I caught a Buzz. It was harder fishing when we ran out of chovies and all that was left was big dines. Jackpot fish was just barley over 1lb. WTF but that's why they call it fishing. I was shooting the ***** with Aaron while he was hooking me up with bags of dines and 5lbs of squid to take home and freeze for future fishing. I was telling him how we where probably going to hit up a dock for a few hours and see if we could get on some fish. Instead Aaron then invited us to fish of the back of the boat until his next trip was going out. I thought that was really cool of him to do so we took him up on his offer. When we got back to the dock DFG was waiting to see what he got. As I walked up DFG asked me " any luck?" I replied "yeah just a few Garibaldi"....lol then he wanted to take a look at my bags of bait... ( I wasn't being serious guys just pullin his leg, he knew that. ) I know he was just doing his job. Fishing off the back of the boat was awesome off the hook! I caught this nice abu-Garcia spinning combo

Cliff caught a Thornback, 2 nice Croakers, and a spotte. My girl out fished us all day NEWBIEFISHERMAN82....lol j/k and caught 1 small spottine and then this chunk. NICE spottie babe.

Aaron the deckhand/friend hooked up to a nice size ray that snapped him off after boat hopping a few times

I yes got the skunk except for the spinning combo...lol but what a great day on the water, It was really nice to have such a great crew on deck. Thanks again Aaron and Phil you guys are some cool dudes.
