We did well but nothing over a pound. I am still wondering why all the bass in that lake are always no bigger than a pound when they have a ton of crawdads as forage......hmmmmm

I have posted less than 5 times here just to let you know.I have fished fulmore off and on for the last 30 yrs.just starting to fish for bass and I'm having fun doing it with a ul and 4lb test line. my ? to you guys that have more knowledge of bass fishing is would the lake freezing in the winter have an effect on the growth of the bass.

TOOTALL....I was thinking the same thing when I was up there the other day. I know that it takes bass 4 to 5 days to digest food in the water temps that are below 48* but there has to be big ones in there somewhere. I am going to have to do my research on this unless someone else knows the answer.

You know and I know that the bigger ones are in there, seen them swimming around, just cant figure out what they want yet. I have pulled a few decent ones around 2# or so from there, just few and far between. Fun lake to fish regardless.

yeah it is a fun lake to fish, theres something about being able to cover the whole lake from shore that makes it nice. shore fishing at like perris can be productive just not as fun.
