Now as we all know Calstars are by far one of the most popular rods that Socal anglers reach for when we hit a local moo moo. What I want to know is has anyone here ever broken this oh so popular rod while fishing? Now I've used several Calstars in the past and dam* are they tough. I've seen them doubled over and still hold up for the very next dozen yellowtail that one pursues.
