Just got back from the santa ana river. Fishing was slow but I finally caught a brown trout!!! Not one but 2 browns. 1st one was about 3 inches and the 2nd was about 10 inches. Both were caught and released on an olive woolly bugger. On the way out saw a fire down the road from glass rd. looked near the church campgrounds so might want to check and see if the highway is open before heading up.
